Sweepstakes

Jeremy, WallE and I went home for Christmas. I kept teasing, saying that we were bringing the snow with us and did we ever! The wind was CRAZY also! We had Christmas with Mom, Elissa, Wendi and Grandma on Wednesday the 23rd. Then on the 24th we just hung out. We were going to go to Wichita to see my dad and grandparents but that's when the snow and wind started, so we were pretty snowed in. We did hit up Wal Mart in A.C. and Winfield and while Jeremy and his dad were at Wal Mart in Winfield, I went and saw Grandma Dunbar. It was really good to see her! Then that evening we went to the Berg's house and had Christmas with Sherry and Courtney
Then on Christmas morning we had Christmas with Pops and Bobs. Then the Berg's came out and we had more Christmas with them! Then we went to Bucka and Papa's and had Christmas with the Coldwell's! It was fun and really good to see everyone! We were going to go see Dad and my grandparents after that but we ended up leaving town on Christmas Day and going back to Nebraska. So we didn't get to see them. But we did however make plans to meet up in K.C. and eat and Jeremy's favorite mongolian grill!

We got some really great gifts! I got a stand mixer, and hand mixer, spandex shorts, shorts, a wind suit pants and jacket, and a shirt to go with them (really cute), a very old pitcher, an omelet maker, a sandwich maker, a candle holder, a scentsy candle, a flower throw for me, and a texas throw for Jeremy, scrapbooking stuff, a shirt, a bra (WOO), a scarf and gloves, from dirty santa I got a tool box for Jeremy and a hair dryer that we had the receipt for (so we returned it), Jeremy got 3 shirts, a football signed by Colt McCoy, a Texas Christmas ornament... gosh! A lot of stuff. I can't remember it all right now lol I am too tired!

I have been entering sweepstakes since mid-September. In September I won a 3 month membership to Pogo.com which is a gaming website. In October I won a book. In November, I don't think I won anything. In December I won $10 from Huggies, a bracelet from Haut Baubbles, 2 spittoons from Skoal, $100 gift card for Hayneedle.com, a Sugarland prize pack (not sure what's in it because I haven't received it yet), and a starbucks gift card.. that I'm trading Aunt Susan for a Dave and Busters gift card! I guess I haven't done too bad this month! Just didn't seem like much. Out of all that the only things I've received is the book and the bracelet. I haven't seen anything else yet.

Right now I'm just trying to get done with school! I'm almost done! I'll probably be done in 2 weeks! Or less :)

My new years resolution is 30 minutes of cardio everyday and 200 crunches everyday! Hello sexy body! :P
Jeremy's is no fast food, no pop, no candy. AKA lose weight..

I guess that's all for 2009! Maybe I'll keep up with my blog better... or have something to blog about!!

A new day..

Today is my day off!! That sounds stupid because I only work part time and I don't work on the weekends. But the weekends are pretty much the only time I get to see Jeremy. I work from 1-7 and I let him sleep as long as he can (he works nights and sleep during the day). After he wakes up we just sit around and watch TV. I don't really feel like doing anything when I get to spend time with J. I wake up around 9 (go to bed around midnight) and let WallE out, eat breakfast while he is outside so he's not all over me, wanting to drink my cereal milk. Then I let him in, feed him and enter sweepstakes. Then I get in the shower around 1145, and leave for work around 12:30 to be at work at 12:45. So there isn't much time in the day to get everything done I want to, when I work in the middle of the day.
I have gotten so much done today though!! I did some school work.. got done with a Unit which means I am ready to take a test! Did dishes, much needed laundry and paid bills! I like having all day to do stuff.

We got most of our Thanksgiving groceries. We got corn, a finger-food-tray, sweep potatoes and regular potatoes. Jeremy is getting our Turkey tonight after he wakes up. The Simons are bringing green bean casserole, and dessert. I think I am going to make some cookies also.

Stephanie B. brought me a bread mix. It's an amish recipe.. it stays in a ziplock bag, and you just "mush" it for the first 4 days, then on the 5th day you add more ingredients then mush it for 4 more days then you add lots more ingredients and divide the recipe into 4 cups. Add a cup into a 1-gallon ziplock bag (4 bags). And you share the bags with 4 friends! The bread is SO good! I want to bring some home for Christmas so everyone at work will be eating lots of bread because only the Amish know how to start the recipe. So I can't stop "mushing"!!

We haven't really started on Christmas shopping (grr!) but we did get our tree and a few decorations. We are just going to have a small tree this year. I figured it's easier this way, because we won't be here for Christmas, we don't have kids or anything to make it a magical Christmas for, so it's just easier and cheaper this way! I will buy Christmas decorations after the holiday when they are cheap, for next year.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Crafts

While Jeremy has been away at Vegas, I have become quite crafty!
Elissa got me some vinyl lettering for my birthday. Well we are in the Air Force, there is no way I am going to take down the lettering every time we move, and try to make it perfect again at the next house! Sooo.. I put it on a mirror!! It looks so great! It did start going uphill but I cannot do anything perfect so I'm okay with a couple uphill words!

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away."

And another one I did... one day while cruising for a new craft I saw this idea for a jar decoration.. you wrap yarn around it and you can include beads or whatever. Well I thought it was really cute, but I wanted to change it up a little... I put gems on it (no yarn)! And I put our remotes in it! We have another remote that won't fit in with the rest, but that one is always in Jeremy's hand anways...

I thought they were really cute! I don't have any ideas for any new inventions.. but I will come up with new ones!
Jeremy comes home Sunday from Vegas! I am ready for him to be home! He probably doesn't want to leave but his family misses him :(

I started school earlier this week!! I completed Unit 1 in 2 days, but it didn't have anything to do with being a Dental Assistant. It was just talking about finding a good time and place to study, blah blah blah. But then I started Unit 2! I can't do much without my text book, which I am waiting for that to be mailed to me! I'm really excited for this! I don't have any deadlines or due dates except for being done with everything in a year from the date I started! Which if everything goes as planned, I will be done atleast by the beginning of October, hopefully sooner!

Happy Trick Or Treating!!

So I've been thinking..

It's a boring Saturday morning, WallE is sleeping and I'm watching "16 & Pregnant".. These girls always say that they miss hanging out with their friends. Well I have wanted a kid since I was 16! Maybe I didn't want one then but I have been looking forward to having one! So I'm married now, and my marriage is over the one year hump and we get along better now. Jeremy said that I need to get my degree before we have kids. Well I'm going to be starting school... and I am going to have my degree soon! AND since I don't hang out with the one friend that I do have up here in Nebraska... then it's the perfect time to have a baby! Yes, maybe we need to get some things paid off first, but as soon as that happens... you better believe this will be my defense against him when he says we're not ready! :)
I'm sure having a baby isn't all it's cracked up to be. But if I put a degree and a baby on a scale, I would rather have a baby. I want having kids to be my degree! That's what I'm so excited for. Not having a degree. But I do want a degree so that we can support our kids. It's all so confusing. I'm only 21, so I could wait to have kids, but I want them. Especially when all I do is go to work and come home and clean and sit around anyways... why not throw a baby in the mix somewhere..
Oh well! No matter what I think we aren't having one any time soon. I just wanted to take these thoughts off my mind.
Osta La Vista!

October so far

I can't believe it's already October 12th!!! I remember this day, last year like it was yesterday.. Jeremy left tomorrow, last year, for basic training! Yikes! It's already been a year????
Tomorrow is Elissa's birthday too! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Last weekend Elissa and Momma Skibbe came up! It was fun! Elissa and I went shopping and Jeremy took Momma on base to show her around. Then we met up for lunch at Chili's. After that we went to the Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, IA (just across the border) and gambled a little. I came out $40 ahead and then we went to the dog races. That was a lot of fun! Then we watched I love you, Man and Sweet Home Alabama and Taladega Nights! Lots of fun!

We went home this weekend.. for Gueda Fest and Josh Demo's wedding. Gueda Fest was Gueda Fest! Small, redneck, backwoods parade, lawn mower races and party at a box car.. woo hoo! Demo's wedding was apparently fun! I was just there for some of the reception.
We spent most of our weekend in Gueda at Momma Skibbe's. She had some goooood food! We got to see a lot of people but of course not everybody! I saw my mom when he was at the wedding, I went and ate lunch with Wendi and Elissa, we stayed at Pops' and Bob's house, we suprised Luke, Janet, AJ and Zoe at the football game on Friday, and we saw Courtney and Sherry on our way out of town! Very busy! But we had a great time!

Jeremy leaves Thursday for Vegas! He has "temporary duty" there. He is really excited!! And even thought I'M the one that just turned 21, I'm excited for him too! He will be gone for 18 days!!! Yikes! We haven't been apart since he got back from Tech School! But I think I'll be fine! I have WallE! :P WallE and I are going to go home for Arkalalah and Halloween weekend! That will be fun! Once again... spending Halloween by myself! :P oh well!

WallE is having flea problems! And it gets worse when we go home and we're around other dogs! But they will be gone soon, since it's cold outside. I WILL DEFEAT THEM!! They aren't bad, we haven't found any on us or anything! I just feel bad cause they pester the heck out of WallE!

Everything else has been really good! Neither of us have gotten sick yet, knock on wood!! We were both REALLY sick last year! He got sick at Tech School right before he came home for Christmas vacation, and then he gave it to me. I was not happy! I had to Christmas shop while being deathly sick (dramatization) hehe

I'll make up my own quote today..

I'd rather be fat than ugly, because I can always go on a diet.

I don't understand!!

September 22
Not a good day! 5 years ago today I lost a friend in a car accident. He was a great guy! Very active in sports and wouldn't hurt a fly! One year ago today, Josh Skibbe, Jeremy's best friend died in a motorcycle accident. Jeremy hasn't been the same since. And today is Tyler Juden's funeral. He was killed in Afgahnistan. I know that Josh was a good guy and from the response from Ark City, Juden was a good guy too! I just don't understand all this! We are told to give things to the Lord.. I do that, alot. But one thing I don't want to give to him is my family and friends! I don't want THAT to be taken from me. Maybe this is selfish, but I just want him to take my problems and handle them. Not my loved ones.

I lost a lot of friends in high school, Nick, Taylor, Lexi, it's only 3 but that's a lot, especially when they are all in a 5 month span... FIVE MONTHS!! That's a lot of hurting. I miss all of them dearly and wish I could just talk to them one more time, but that would only leave me wanting more time.

I do count my blessings, and I know that one of them is that I have had my brothers deployed for a long period of time, and both of them are now home, safe, with their families! Jeremy wants to get deployed and I will pray for him from now until the day he gets back. I love him very much and couldn't handle losing him. I am very fortunate, but I am very empathetic, so even though I don't know Tyler Juden or any of his family, I just want to cry my heart out for them. This war is an evil thing and I don't think I could handle losing a loved one to it.

Always count your blessings, never take anything for granted, and cherish every moment!

Growing old!

Well obviously my computer has gone down again because I haven't been blogging... But a lot has happened, sorta.
Our life isn't that exciting so "alot" is really a little!

WallE went to a new place to get groomed and she was horrible! He was SO stressed when I picked him up. Found out later that she cut both of his ears! She never said anything about it. I really don't care if they cut him, cause I know how wiggley his is, but if they don't tell me, that's when I'm mad! She was not friendly either! Needless to say... never taking him there! And I left bad reviews on the internet about them :)

On August 28th Richard, Bobbie, Brother Woolbrite and his wife Kathy came up to see us! They rode their motorcycles up which was cool! And we went to the Offutt Air Show! It was a lot of fun! We all came home looking like raccoons because the weather was on the cool side, but the sun was still shining. So we didn't feel the sun beaming down on us!

The next weekend we went home for Labor Day weekend (4 day weekend!!!). We had a blast!! Got to see alot of friends and ALOT of family! Mom, Wendi and Elissa came out to Richard and Bobbie's and so did The Howards, The Berg's, Bucka and PaPa, the Jacksons and the Cutrights and we had a barbeque! It was a lot of fun!! And on our way home we stopped and had lunch with Danielle!!

Even with all this time that I'm taking off work.. I'm still getting a lot more hours at work. I was averaging 21, but this week and next week I have 29! Hopefully it stays that high! Work has been fun lately!

My birthday is in 2 days... turning 21! I'm not really that excited for it, which is weird cause I'm always excited for my birthday! I just don't have family and friends to celebrate it with.. But I guess that's part of this life!

But WallE is happy as ever and loves his momma more than ever! And that's all that matters! :)

It takes a long time to grow young. - Pablo Picasso

ONE year?

Some days it seems like it has been more than one year, some days it seems like less than a year! But either way... Jeremy and I have been married for ONE WHOLE YEAR!!
Yesterday was our one year anniversary! Jeremy had to work but after he got off we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched the UFC fights! Not typical for a 1 year.. but we just wanted to have fun! And we did! :) Our wedding wasn't mushy, and neither will our anniversaries :P

Reminiscing... For our honeymoon we just went to Wichita and spend the day together and basked in our love :)
Jeremy went to basic training (on Oct. 13th) in San Antonio, and graduated (on Nov. 27th).
We got WallE on January 3rd.
We moved to Nebraska on February 10th
...And we have been in love ever since! :)

HOPE

I feel like ever since I was a little kid, any time I got my hopes up, I was let down. Any time I ever said anything outloud about something I had my hopes up for.. I was let down.
Getting a car... let down
Getting a good job... let down

But if I don't say anything out loud then it happens... no one knew that we were car shopping or getting a car until after it happened because I knew I would jinx myself if I said anything out loud.
Then I was sooo excited about this job opportunity (the receptionist at the vet's office) and everyone knew about it and I had sort of made plans in my mind about how things would be after I got it and I didn't get it!

It's always been like that! I don't know if it's God saying... Don't say anything outloud, pray about it. Or if I just don't have any luck!!

I can think "Everything happens for a reason" "This means there will be a better opportunity" blah blah blah... that's easier said than done. I am so disappointed. I was really hoping for this job! I mean REALLY! It wasn't just going to help me, it was going to help other people.

I guess I will just move on from this let down and get ready to set myself up for another.

Here's a strange thought... I didn't talk outloud to many people about getting married and I didn't get let down! WOO HOO!! :) I love Jeremy

So is hope a good thing or a bad thing? Should I have it or keep it inside? If you don't have hope what do you have?

Here's a few definitions of hope:

1.the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best: to give up hope.

2.a particular instance of this feeling: the hope of winning.

3.grounds for this feeling in a particular instance: There is little or no hope of his recovery.

4.a person or thing in which expectations are centered

Fun weekend

That describes my whole weekend! Friday night we went to Outback Steakhouse and then went to the movies and watched "The Ugly Truth". It was a pretty good movie! Saturday we went to the Zoo! It was free, so it was packed! Just getting in was free, the Skyfari and the Imax theatre was cheap, so that's what we did! We watched a safari movie in 3-d and we rode the skyfari! It was a lot of fun! And a good way to kill a few hours! Then we went to Carlos O'Kelleys and had a late lunch. Then went to Wal-Mart and came home! I took a nap of course! What's a Saturday without a nap :) Then Sunday I went to church and went to work. Then we went to The Simon's and had Sunday Funday= supper (Indian Tacos) and True Blood! Very good episode.. can't wait for next week!!

My interview at The Mobile Vet Clinic went very well and I can't wait to hear back from them! It was on Friday so I didn't really expect a phone call today. That was weird.. as I was typing this I got a phone call from Hallmark lol I put in an application way back in February and they called to see if I was looking for a job lol But they are offering a part time job, not full time. So I turned it down. I already have a part time job...

WallE has been a brat lately. Chewing up toilet paper, and being a whiney butt!

I'm going to start posting jokes at the end of my blogs, because I want people to laugh! I love to laugh! :)

So I'll start with the family joke

A toothpick walked into a bar and ordered a drink, the bartender asked to see some ID and he said "I don't have any ID, I'm a toothpick!"

Happy birthday!!

Monday was Jeremy's birthday! We didn't do much. He wanted to go fishing while I was at work but it rained so he didn't do anything. After I got home we went over to "The Simon's" and had chili dogs (they were delish) and hung out. But he got to do a lot of stuff in the month of July and I say it's for his birthday every time :P He went golfing, which meant I had to give him his presents early (plaid shorts and golf balls), he went to DJ's dugout to watch the UFC fights with The Simon's. He's not a big birthday person.. I am though! And my birthday is in a month and a half!!

I think WallE is done sleeping with us. He will be on the bed but unless I'm petting him he is whining and so he jumps down and sleeps on the floor. I don't mind petting him, but it's a little hard to scratch daddy's back and pet WallE at the same time. So I let him whine.
Jeremy made the BEST porkchops the other day. And I mean the BEST!!! I mean.. it was the merinade but he can have the credit! :P I had to work so I couldn't help with supper, but they were definitely worth waiting for!!! =)
We had Blimpie's for the first time the other day (it was my first time, his second), it was very good! I hope we can choose them over subway?!

Jeremy is working 6 days straight this week. Lame!

I have been working quite a bit too (at Dick's and through TAPS). So hopefully we can start saving some money!

Other than that nothing is going on! Peace and Love!

Missing the family

Well I just got done looking through the pictures from 4th of July (they had a get together in Kansas at Richard and Bobbie's) for the second time. The Texas Byers were there, the A.C. Byers were there, the Matt Coldwell's, the Jackson's, the Bergs, PaPa and Bucka... it just makes me miss home!!! I wish we were there on the 4th. I miss our family! I miss my grandparents, and my grandma too. (I just saw the rest of the Dunbar's 2 weeks ago). I especially miss them on days that I'm not doing anything or when I'm stressing over stuff (i.e. bills... wishing I was a kid again!!!) like today. It just sucks, alot.
Don't get me wrong, Jeremy and I had an okay time on the 4th. It would have really sucked if we wouldn't have bonding time. But I guess that's what this life is all about right?! Missing stuff..
I guess I just wasn't ready for it and we have been up here for 7 months.
I'm hoping to land this new job soon (a receptionist for a vet clinic). If I do get this job I will be way less stressed, but I don't have it yet, so until then... stress time!!
I miss my friends. There are so many people that I used to talk to all the time, and now I barely talk to them at all! I have only made one friend up here, really. One that I would actually go hang out with. Talk about sucks! And she is so busy lately that we don't hang out anymore.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year, you get to see your family, eat home cookin' and get presents! But when less family comes to Christmas, and you get less gifts (that sounds greedy but that's not the point I'm making) you know something is wrong. Less people should mean more gifts, right? I've noticed this in the past couple years. First Donald left, then Chris, occasionally Jennifer makes it down. Sometimes the Oleson's go to Colorado instead. So less gifts just makes it more gloomy, on top of less people.

I guess I'm just whining in this blog. We'll call it getting some stuff off my chest. I really just wish I could wave my magic wand and change things, for a lot of people.

So I will leave you with this saying. I always used it in my speeches when I was running for an FFA officer:
I DON'T WANT TO NECESSARILY CONQUER THE WORLD, BUT I DO WANT PEOPLE TO THINK I'M TRYING.

Is it swimming weather yet?

This has been a lame summer! It hasn't been very hot, and I want to go swimming!

Well Jeremy hasn't been working weekends very long but it's nice to have him home! (Don't be fooled, he's not doing much housework lol) But it's nice to hang out with him!
His birthday is on the 20th, not sure what is happening but I want him to do something fun!

I still haven't found a new job, but I applied at Maurice's yesterday and they are hiring! So hopefully...!!!

WallE is still crazy!! He has been peeing on my plants, and killing them! I wish he would pee on the weeds and kill them!

August 8th is our first anniversary!! I don't think we are doing anything special. Also, August is the air show up here. We are pretty excited to see it (it's our first one). Richard and Bobbie are hoping to ride the motorcycle up here for that! And then September brings my birthday and a baseball game that we are hoping to catch with the family.. Royals vs. Red Sox (the Red Sox is the Coldwell family's team).

Nothing else is new... Just thought I'd update my blog.

Are we in Hannah Montana yet?

The Dunbar girls got here on Tuesday and we just hung out and had pizza for supper! Then Wednesday Jeremy went to work and we just hung out; had doughnuts for breakfast, hamburger helper for lunch and tacos for supper! "The Donalds" got here around 10 that night and since the kids had slept alot in the car they were pretty awake! It took Trista a while to warm up to us (I would be the same way... 4 girls just smiling at her, all trying to hug her and love on her! :P) But Braeden was showing us his shoes as soon as I opened the car door! lol They are just adorable! They loved the presents that Grandma Karen got them...

We had chocolate chip pancakes in the morning! Trista and Braeden were sitting at the table before Jeremy even started making them! :P And we had sandwiches for lunch before they got on the road! It was really good to see them!! I'm glad that my family got to come up and see my house too!
They stayed in South Dakota last night and tonight they are staying in Montana. Braeden keeps asking Mandy if they are in Hanna Montana yet! haha! He's adorable! He played football, baseball and golf with Uncle Jeremy. He really loved him! (Probably because it was a house full of girls except Uncle Jeremy and Daddy!
They are both great dancers! Braeden is a break dancer but I couldn't really get a good video of it, but I got a good one of Trista. I couldn't get the videos to upload, sorry. Happy 4th of July!!

golfing, haircuts, visits

We went golfing! Acutally him and Nick golfed, the Stephanie's drove the carts! :P

Well Jeremy is now working from 6:30 to 6:30, which makes supper pretty late but he gets to sleep thirty minutes later..

I'm still looking for a new/another job. It's getting pretty bad at Dick's. Hardly anybody talks to me and when they do they are rude.
I made a "boo boo" and paid one of our bills twice this month, so money is a little tight. Well WallE really needed a haircut so we gave him a homemade haircut! :S It's not very good at all! haha I don't know how they do it! He wouldn't sit still to save his life (literally!). Any he had quite a few clumps of hair on his back leg where he bits himself at, so we had to cut those and now that leg looks REALLY bad! It's pretty funny, I laugh everytime I look at him! When we actually do bring him to a groomer, they are going to wonder what the heck happened to him! Pictures don't really do it justice, but I'll try to upload some on here!

I don't know how well you can see it, but this back leg closest to you is the really bad one. And you can see on his back those few pieces that are longer than the rest!

This one was just too cute! I was trying to get some pics and he stretched and when I "clicked" he licked his chops! :P

Isn't he just so cute!!

Okay... back to the bad hair cut! :P

Next week my family is going to be here!! Mom, Elissa, Wendi, Donald, Mandy, Braeden and Trista.. are all crashing at my house! So this whole time that I've been saying "the more the merrier" and we have a huge house and no one to fill it" ya well, I'm not sure how we are sleeping everybody! But I'll get it figured out! And I think we might end up doing pizza for the one meal we are sharing. You can't go wrong with pizza! But I AM really excited to have everyone here!!! I just wish Chris and Mary could make it!
Sunday was Father's Day! We called our dads.. did you?
Have a good week everyone!

Looking for a new ending..

Most people look for new beginnings but in my case, I'm looking for a new ending. The ending meaning the end of our life in Nebraska. We are both ready to leave here and go somewhere else. We both LOVE the mid-west but I think we want to get out of here and see what else is out there. I have been looking for a new job. I'm sick of Dick's Sporting Goods.
We won't be able to move out of this house until next february, but we are being open-minded. We like our big house but we don't use it! We like having the 2 extra rooms for company, but really... we don't have company that often! Richard and Bobbie & Elissa have came up and stayed the night. That's all...
We get a housing allowance and this house takes all of it and that pays for all of our house bills, but it's kinda silly. We could be taking some of that money home with us. Because if we live in an apartment then we don't have to mow (which Rising View are Natzi's about!).
WallE is getting big and is still as crazy as ever! He is going through terrible two's lately... teething!! But we got him some chips and he loves them, so hopefully they keep his teeth off my entertainment center!!
I haven't been feeling well the last couple days. Sunday night when I changed into my PJ's I got sick to my stomach and then about 3AM I was waking Jeremy up to get me a towel so I could wipe my mouth. :/ I manned up and went to work Monday, and managed not to throw up again! But wasn't fully "up to par". But with the exception of headaches nearly everyday, I'm better.
Jeremy is done working nights (for now). He is back to working from 6 to 6. Which is way better than 2PM to 2AM!
Donald and his family are coming through this way around the first of July, so that will be exciting to see them. And my mom and the girls are coming up at the same time to see them! I'm pretty excited for everyone to be here!
Nothing else is happening... Peace, Love and Coldwells!

broken computer :(

Well my computer has been broken since April, that's why I haven't posted anything.
Since my last post..
I am still working at Dick's Sporting Goods, but the have recently hired more people so now there is SEVEN cashiers, so I'm going to start looking for a new job! I'm not getting many hours there anymore.
We went home memorial weekend cause Jeremy had a 4 day weekend! We had a great time! WallE and Kallie are the same size now! So crazy!!
Jeremy has been on nights for the past couple weeks. Kinda stinks but it's only until the 16th!
We bought a car on May 2nd. A silver impala. I love it! It's a gas saver and a fight-saver. Only having one vehicle was getting interesting. Nothing else has really changed. Just juggling work and spending time together...

But the good news... I'm back to blogging! :D

Well we haven't been up to much lately. Elissa came up for the weekend. I had to work until 10 Friday so Jeremy and his friend took her to some bars in Omaha. They all had a really good time! Saturday we had Biscuits and gravy for brunch then Elissa (and I, sorta) made spaghetti pizza and we had that for supper! That was Jeremy's first 'spaghetti pizza experience' and he actually enjoyed it! I was suprised and glad cause it's super easy to make! Then we went to the movies and watched Fast & Furious 4. It was really good! Sunday I made doughnuts and we had those for breakfast. They were good! But fattening :( Then I had to work at 12 so I had to say bye to Elissa and she left a little bit later.
While I was gone, Jeremy did a lot of cleaning for me!! :) So I am going to say THANK YOU!! again!! He's great!
We got WallE and stake and a 30 ft. leash so he can play outside and I don't have to stand there and watch him. He LOVES being outside!! There's not any trees outside so he has to go to the side of the house to get any shade.
Work is going good. I am still keeping my eye out on any receptionist jobs but not worrying about it. "Beggars can't be choosers."
Happy Easter!!

Ready for the world

All of our stuff is out of boxes and just about in a permanent place. Of course I keep rearranging things and such, but for the most part it's all done.

So far we are really enjoying being up here! We are really enjoying spending time together and finally starting our marriage! Jeremy is really enjoying his job and I just found a job the other day. I will be working at Dick's Sporting Goods. I can't complain.. it's out of food which is what I was looking for! WallE is really enjoying out house also! He has been pretty good for the most part! Getting potty trained has been our #1 priority for him!

There is a birthday ball for the Offutt AFB on March 28th. I am really looking forward to it! We are both looking forward to alot in our future's. For right now, we are just enjoying life! :)

First day in Nebraska

We are finally here!! We got to Bellevue/Offutt AFB around 4:00 on 11 Feb. 2009. We met with our "sponsor" and drove around base and checked it out then went to his house and figured out what to do with WallE because he couldn't stay at the hotel with us. Then Thursday Jeremy went to work with him (SSgt. Robertson, they have the same job) and did some in-processing and then we went to Rising View and got a house! We looked at three houses. The first two were in the same duplex and looked the same just flip-flopped, then we went to one down the street and it just had darker carpet and darker counter tops. We went with the first house we saw.
I don't know if I can post pictures on here since this is my first blog but check out my facebook, there will be some on there.
So now that we have the keys to our house, I am sitting in the hotel and I'm waiting on Jeremy to get off work so we can go get WallE from the kennel and go to our house! Even though we have our hotel room for another night I think we are going to stay the night in our house tonight, we have blankets and pillows..
We are both so excited for this adventure, even though WallE isn't so sure about the stairs..
Love,
The Traveling Coldwells
